About me

I am a senior researcher at the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) in Nuremberg, Germany. From January to April 2026, I am also a visiting scholar at UC Berkeley.

My research interests are in labor economics and social policy. I currently lead a project on entrepreneurship and prior work experience that is funded by the German Research Foundation (click here for details). In addition, I work on wage inequality, the minimum wage, and employment in the gig economy.
